Chain Blocks / Pull Lifts

Chain blocks, also referred to as chain hoists, are designed for vertical lifting using a hand chain. These devices are ideal for heavy, fixed-point lifting in industrial environments. In contrast, pull lifts, also known as lever hoists or ratchet lever hoists, utilise a lever or handle for multi-directional pulling and lifting. This makes them particularly suitable for tasks that require both vertical and horizontal movement in confined spaces, where the operator must be in close proximity.

The primary distinction between these two lifting solutions lies in their operational methods: chain blocks draw a long chain from a distance to achieve vertical lifts, while lever hoists require the operator to crank a handle for versatile lifting and pulling at closer ranges.
